2025. Entre Thong Lo et Ekkamai, on peut se réfugier à Kaffe50. Dans cette boutique d'antiquités (en grande partie importées de Scandinavie), à demi dissimulée derrière des plantes grimpantes, on peut se rafraîchir, manger, céder deux fois de suite au carrot-cake + americano... tout en s'étonnant de voir disparaître si vite la lumière quand arrive l'orage de mousson, et en regardant, à travers les vitres déjà mouillées, le patron rentrer à l'abri les objets exposés dans la rue.
2025. Between Thong Lo and Ekkamai, Kaffe50 offers a welcome refuge. This antique shop — largely stocked with Scandinavian imports — half-hidden behind climbing plants, is a place to cool down, eat, and succumb twice in a row to carrot cake and an americano... while marvelling at how quickly the light disappears when a monsoon storm rolls in, and watching, through the already rain-streaked windows, the owner bringing in the objects displayed outside.
